Yvon ADAM (1932-2017). Lingerie, 2015 and 2017. 8 enhanced prints in pastel and colored pencil, approx. 36 x 25 cm. Signed, dated and numbered, one titled on the front. An eclectic Belgian artist, draftsman, engraver, photographer and painter, Adam was professor of graphic arts at the Institut des Arts Décoratifs in Liège from 1961 to 1974. He is remembered for creating banknotes for the National Bank of Belgium. But his main subject of inspiration remains Woman, with a universe reminiscent of his neighbors, the Pataphysicians...
