Félicien ROPS (1833-1898). Sainte Thérèse, circa 1885. Original colored pencil drawing, 16.5 x 12 cm on view. The renowned Musée Rops in Namur holds a drawing from the same period. We would like to thank Véronique Carpiaux, curator of the Musée Rops in Namur, for informing us of this. cf: "Hommage à Pan-Vieux Faune-Curieuse, collections-musee-rops.be". According to Madame Carpiaux: "All these drawings take up known erotic works in engraving." In fact, this drawing refers to the engraving called Sainte Thérèse.
