Alexandre BERTRAND (1822-1889), attributed to. Odalisque, 1850-1854. Stereoscopic daguerreotype finely enhanced in color, produced on 1/3 or 2/6 plate, 8.5 x 17.4 cm. The cushions appear identical to those in the image reproduced in Serge Nazarieff, Early erotic photography, Taschen, 1993, page 79. In 1993, Nazarieff attributed this image to Louis Jules Dubosc-Soleil. The same embroidered cushions are present in the image reproduced in Denis Pellerin, Le Nu stéréoscopique, les modèles et leur histoire, BEA + Polyverlags AG, 2020, page 134.
