"Europe's largest artist's city" - abbreviated MAA -, was built in 1933, on land freed by the destruction of the Montmartre maquis. It housed up to 180 artists and their families. This work has never left this singular place, a crossroads of great fraternity and numerous exchanges. On several occasions, Odette Charpentier came to Andel's aid in her moments of dementia.
