Jacques CHEMAY (1938-1996). Composition, circa 1970. Lithograph, 56 x 76 cm. Signed, captioned and numbered 56/80 in pencil at bottom: Dedication to Yves Hamon for his 45th birthday. Yves Hamon was a Bordeaux merchant-broker who, after a career in unsavory circles, turned his attention to painting on the bangs of the '70s. In 1971, he organized an exhibition entitled "Les Autres" (The Others), featuring works by Jean-Marie Poumeyrol, Georges Bru, Carmeil, Cremonini, Alfred Courmes, Cueco, Fred Deux, Pierre Molinier, Michel Parré, Christian Zeimert and others.
