The poster for the 46th Annual New York Art Directors' Show was one of the first celebrations of hippie chic. Tom Daly painted an all-over psychedelic pattern on the naked body of model Wanda Embry, whom Ken Harris then photographed. The poster image was revolutionary and highly influential. Robert McGinnis's work for "Casino Royale" (1967) owed a great deal to him, and the representation of "body art" appeared on several film posters such as "The Illustrated Man" (1969) and "The Italian Job" (1969).
