Illustrated with 14 (of 16) hors-texte lithographs by Berthommé Saint-André. The preface is by Louis Perceau. The original edition was published in Germany around 1870 by Auguste Linz, the probable author of this text. Limited edition of 305 copies, one of 250 on vellum à la forme with the definitive suite of 16 lithographs. Bibliography: Pia 902, Dutel 1949.
