Alphonse DAUDET. 1840-1897. Writer 5 L.A.S. or bill and annotated C.V. (Champrosay), s.d. 5 pp. in-4, visiting card with his name annotated Correspondence evoking Mme Daudet's writings. He plans to introduce his wife, who is preparing a small book of notes in the format of "L'Enfance d'une parisienne". In another letter, he adds: (...) I am sending you some thoughts to be inserted in Madame Daudet's little volume. At the head of each fragment, I have marked the page of the new review (...). It's a little work that needs to be added before printing. As you know, your author would like the book to be built on the same pattern as "L'Enfance d'une parisienne", and to cost only five francs. She would also have liked it to appear before the end of the year, but without falling into the middle of the New Year's eve (...). Enclosed are a number of letters addressing articles or proofs by Mme Daudet. They eagerly await the Japon copies...
