Portfolio in average condition. First edition of this collection of 31 original lithographs, one of which is the frontispiece, colored in colored pencils. With the exception of the frontispiece, all plates are printed on Arches laid paper tinted with vertical pencils and mounted under matting. Limited edition of 516 copies. The justification is printed on a label stuck on the back of the first plate, with the initials H.P. "After a meeting in the subway, a couple begins a very thorough flirtation in the cab that takes them to a hotel where the new lovers will finally be able to fully enjoy their intimacy. The artist's delicate and confident line beautifully depicts this amorous encounter in the Parisian atmosphere of the 1930s. Rojan's printed masterpiece is one of the most beautiful erotic portfolios of the 20th century." Another label, mimeographed, and glued by a bookstore says: "This book was printed at the Darantière printing house in Dijon in 19... and designed by the Polish humorist Robjanski [sic] who was a contributor to "Le Rire". The copy n°1 had been bought from a Parisian bookseller for Adolphe [sic] Hitler and was burned during the capture of the Eagle's Nest in Berchtengaden (Austria) ". Dutel 1726.
