Octagonal wedding box in embossed brass with floral decoration, the contour symbolizing the union. The lid opens on a hinge. The center of the lid presents arms under ducal crown and mantle with reversed arms, encircled by two griffins, the tail between the legs, the whole girded by the royal orders of Saint Michael and the Holy Spirit. The correspond to those of Alexandre Guillaume de Melun (1619 † 16 February 1679 - Castle of Antoing), prince of Épinoy (1635), marquis of of Roubaix (1641), count of Néchin (1635), lord of Franleu, and other lands, constable of Flanders, seneschal of Hainaut, knight of the king's orders of the king (1661). Married on April 19, 1665 with Louise Anne de Béthune (ca. 1643 † died in childbirth at Épinoy, on September 14, 1666). A clasp, containing the arms of his second marriage with Jeanne Pélagie de RohanChabot (July 3, 1651 † August 18, 1698 - Versailles), on April 11, 1668 was added later and is attached to this box.
