Louis LÉPINE (1846-1933), politician. Circa 1911. 3 vintage silver prints, approx. 18 x 13 cm. Prefect of the Paris police force from 1893 to 1897, he helped modernize the French police by creating the police-secours and the police judiciaire in Paris. He was also behind the Lépine competition and the police prefecture museum. Joint: 11 countertypes and postcards.
