PH. SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN. Poul HENNINGSEN (1894-1967). Theater seat, 1957. Folding chair in black metal and blue fabric, approx. 80 x 50 x 50 cm. Numbered 6, small paint chips on the leg and a small hole in the fabric of the back and seat. Best known for his lighting fixtures, in 1957 Poul Henningsen designed the chairs for the Betty Nansen theater in Copenhagen. Bibliography: Mobilia, Snekkersten, Denmark, no. 322, 1984.
