JAPAN, Kutani kilns, Meiji period (1868-1912). Polychrome enameled porcelain statuette, Okame seated, her dress adorned with cranes and bamboo, a radiant smile, she holds her fan with her left hand, while slipping her right hand under her petticoat to satisfy a solitary pleasure, visible on the reverse. Height 11 cm. This lot is presented by Mrs Alice Jossaume, member of the SFEP, expert to the Court of Appeal of Paris, director of the firm Portier et associés.
